FAITH The Journey of faith is always so challenging, but more rewarding than anything else. I remember some of the first moments in my life when I trusted God for something and the feeling of not seeing an answer right away was discouraging. But then as you continue on the road of life you realize [...]

    It’s Summer Time Baby!!

Hey Guys!! Wow, it is officially summer and all the kids are finally out of school.  This is all a fairly strange concept for the Alexanders.  We have home schooled all of the kids up until this year and we typically took bigger breaks through the year, but we went all year round so school [...]

    Blogamucil and Paralysis

Hey Guys!!  I know … I did it again, but I promise to change my extremely sporadic and highly irregular blogging patterns.  I found a new product called “Blogamucil” … I guess it helps with regularity … we’ll see, now won’t we. Anyway, was at a local Clergy meeting when someone was reading from Mark 2:3-12 when [...]

    The 21 fast begins!

This message is for the Venue Church Family and Extended Family. We are starting a church wide fast today which extends all the way to “Launch Sunday”.

This 21 day corporate fast serves three purposes, but first let me define the fast as it relates here. You can choose the type of fast that you want. Just don’t swear off of brussel sprouts (unless you are completely addicted to them). The kind I am used to is …

We are holding our first official service in the Rocky River High School this Sunday (1.31.10).  We did not plan on being there this early in the year, but we can no longer have service in our home as we are running out of driveway and we are adding new people every week.  We will [...]

Hey guys well we had an exciting, impactful, jam packed weekend!  We are so excited about all of the forward motion and momentum building in Venue Church.  Let me say I was completely drained this morning, I was at the bus stop with the other dads and slurring my words together.  I just hope they [...]

    Feel the Love

    Gifts, Gifts … Gift

In the rush that has over taken everyone’s lives, much of it has to do with gifts. Everywhere you go there are people cleaning off the shelves of your local big box retailer, parking has gotten scarce and people seem a little more focused on the task at hand.  You have heard it said Jesus [...]
